Frozen 2 Has Functional Dresses, Magic, and Sisterly Love

With Frozen 2 hitting theatres this month on November 22nd, we are certain that we are going to walk away with more than a few new catchy songs to sing on repeat. With a dangerous journey into an enchanted forest and a look into Anna and Elsa’s childhood past, the story is going to be filled with magic and scenes that we are going to want to place on repeat. Of course, we can also expect Anna and Elsa to be in an entire new wardrobe that reflects on the film’s darker, more complex, and emotionally mature storyline. So, what can we expect out of Frozen 2?

Functional Dresses That Are Fierce & Comfortable

With the success of the first film, Frozen, there was a frenzied replication of Anna and Elsa’s wardrobes, everything from the iconic flowing dresses to their nightgowns. Children walked around with Frozen themed book bags, socks, and sweaters while sleeping with Frozen themed bedspreads and pillowcases. With Frozen 2 right around the corner, we expect the same to happen with Frozen 2’s all-new functional dress wardrobe.

Inspired by the same colors of the iconic first film, the wardrobe of Elsa and Anna are far more streamlined and utilitarian in the sense that they are practical for use. The Frozen 2 Elsa dress is a gorgeous light to dark blue dress that is simplified in its pattern and comes paired with what appears to be a pair of pants underneath! It keeps the Frozen 2 Elsa outfit theme in that it has snowflakes and icicles on it, but the decor is trimmed down to only be around the edges of the seams. The dress comes down with a straight and narrow fit, has silver embroidered accents, and an ombre coloring effect. While the neck is still in a V-neck fashion, it is modest and comes with a beautiful sequin fabric underneath. The back of the dress has two separated, glittering organza panels that run down the back and flow outward with movement. You will also catch Elsa in a simple burgundy practice gown and a bodysuit for swimming.
